Iranian Maryam Shokouhi Named as the Head of Membership Council of World Ability sport

Iranian Dr. Maryam Shokouhi elected as the Head of Membership Council of the World Ability sport at the General Assembly- which was held in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand from December 16-18, 2023. She will remain in charge until 2027, reports IRI NPC public relations.

Shokouhi was also a previous EB member of the International Wheelchair and Amputee Sports Federation.

World Ability sport has been formed following the merger of the International Wheelchair and Amputee Sports Federation (IWAS) and Cerebral Palsy International Sports and Recreation Association (CPISRA).
